A K-12 school in Denver, CO is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive support to students throughout the academic year. Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC)
- Experience working as a School-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - School)
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Familiarity with state and federal guidelines related to speech therapy in educational settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and students
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students to identify communication needs
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy sessions tailored to student IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
- Adapt intervention strategies to accommodate a diverse student population
